In 1955, Tom De Loache had a vision to own and operate a wholesale men’s apparel business to provide the best quality sweaters, shirts and socks to stores all over the southeast. In just a few years the De Loache HEATHMOOR name became synonymous with value and style. By the late 1970s, men’s stores became more and more scarce as men stopped wearing clothes. I mean, they still wore clothes, they just didn’t care. Lucky for Tom and the other De Loaches, women were still going shopping…and did care!

So, around 1981, HEATHMOOR became exclusively a women’s clothing line. Ever since, De Loache Corporation has dutifully and diligently provided the best apparel and service to as many stores as possible. The company is currently operated by Bayard and Elizabeth De Loache. They stay connected with customers throughout the year through store visits, shows and social media.

De Loache HEATHMOOR is and has always been headquartered in Burlington, North Carolina, and sales are good. We are grateful and plan to keep it that way; great prices with good styling is a powerful combination. We love all orders no matter the size and look forward to serving new customers.
